As my car was stereo-less for the first 15 years of its existance, I figured that a good present for it (and myself :) would be a nice CD player and speakers. Here's how it turned out:

Here's a shot of the stereo installed. I did the work myself, which isn't very difficult, but it is a time consuming process.

I installed four new 4" Rockford Fosgate full range speakers, as there were none in the car. They required a little cutting to fit into place, but they're real nice now that they're in! The spaces behind the paneling in the rear actually provide a sizeable amount of bass considering the speakers I have. But eventually, I will have a subwoofer to fill out the sound.

The face even fits the color scheme of my interior :) I've been nothing but happy with this head unit
